Congrats on beating Lucilius without Terminus weapons. Its actually quite impressive Funny thing about Lucilius is he kinda got pseudo-nerf going from the mobile game to this His wings can attack on its own and has dedicated mechanics. TL;DR of the mechanic is the wings apply simon's says debuffs on you (doing SBA hurts yourself, and using skills heal your party and Lucilius) The entry Paradise Lost is unavoidable. Static 30,000 HP damage, cant reduce the damage with buffs/debuffs, cant dodge it. You gotta eat it no matter what Oh, and his Gopherwood Ark lost its race mechanic (if you have Vaseraga and Narmaya in your team, say good-bye to them forever) _(Gopherwood Ark refers to Noah's ark)_ Not to mention he counts everytime you die. If you died 6 times, it used to instant fail for all 6 players. This mechanic was severely toned down few months ago; 18 death counts (this raid was released back in 2019)

@@sleepyjo2 Lyria is one of few Bahamut fragments that came alive after Bahamut got sliced into two by Abrahamelin and Phoenix, 6000 years ago Something that you most like didnt noticed during the true final battle with Bahamut Versa is The Captain going super saiyan god/blue. That happens when someone connected with Bahamut's power. There are few people can also do it, one of them is Seofon The Captain also went Ultra Instinct when fighting Phoenix
that whole emote's on stream thing used to be a mod years ago for twitch, it's also the reason i stopped watching that streamer after over 1000 hours watching them when they saw no problem with it.
My favorite part is theres currently no way to disable it. Thankfully it seems most streamers have just made the cost as high as they can (100 USD, effectively) so its not really a problem.

The audio in the beach fight was meant to be muffled. Sort of like being in a state of confusion. Most people take it as a cue they are dying but it isn't.

Unfortunately I don't think the old 2d games are going to get anything more than relatively basic remasters. Been looking at the Pixel Remaster though.
You people who manage to get all the Celestial Weapons, especially Wakka's (fuck Blitzball) and ability to get to the point where you break damage'....and THEN to the point of being able to fight these monsters just absolutely blows my mind...I was always shit at the Sphere Grid, and then trying to get characters various Celestial Weapons....I could never even get ONE. I'm glad people like yourself found it so easy.... 😞
Wakka's can be cheesed a few different ways (or you can grind up levels by just passing the ball around a lot if you wanna do it more legit). Yuna and Auron are effectively free, Rikku's minigame isn't bad, Tidus just requires getting used to the odd chocobo movement and not being greedy about balloons after this first corner. Kimahri's is weird, the camera doesn't help, but if you can manage to follow a guide it should only take an hour or so. We don't talk about Lulu's (although you can cheese that one too, it still requires immense focus). Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku are generally the ones you'll want if you're minmaxing. Grinding out the sphere greed is just a matter of patience, you eventually hit a breaking point where 99% of the game becomes free.

Not to contradict you, but I definitely have an English localized NES cartridge of Final Fantasy, that is the actual first one. So they existed, but they were very much under the radar. You are correct, in that FF7 was to Final Fantasy what Monster Hunter World was to Monster Hunter in the west.
I was mistaken. It was PAL that didn't get FF1. FF4 was FF2 in the US and FF6 was FF3. (The US didn't get 2, 3, or 5 for a while. PAL didn't get anything pre-7 until that later release.)
